Registered Nurse- Patient Safety Manager
This position is located at the Wilmington VAMC. The Nurse Patient Safety Manager performs duties directly contributing to high quality and safe patient care within the VHA. Duties require the ability to apply specialized principles and practices of patient safety science to ensure a systems approach to healthcare delivery. The PSM directly supports facility leadership in areas of planning, organization, development, direction, and evaluation of the patient safety program within the facility. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
