Registered Nurse (Patient Safety Specialist) - Quality and Patient Safety
The Patient Safety Specialist provides guidance and direction regarding external review readiness. This would include: The Joint Commission, Office of Inspector General, and other accrediting agencies. Provides program oversight, direction, coordination and leadership in all Patient Safety activities for the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (BPVAHCS). Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency.
