OverviewThe Patient Safety Services/Risk Management Analyst is responsible for the assessment, investigation, and evaluation of the incident reporting system used to identify potential professional liability claims as well as interfacing with physicians, hospital employees, and legal counsel in defense of such claims. Assists with loss prevention programs and participates in facility safety rounds to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission's standards. The Patient Safety Services/Risk Management Analyst participates in formulating or revising policies/procedures to reflect organizational changes as identified by various loss prevention programs.
