The Regional Patient Relations Risk Management Coordinator will function as a representative of management, to exercise initiative and judgment in responding to patient/family concerns promptly, courteously, professionally, and appropriately, or, if unable or unqualified to assist, promptly refers to the appropriate party or department and follows up to facilitate a resolution. The position serves as a patient advocate and a liaison for our staff. The role requires diligent attention in managing timely responses, extensive documentation requirements, and management for regulatory compliance. The Coordinator plays a vital role in risk prevention through collaboration and critical thinking with our clinical risk team. The Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating patient advocate requests and working with legal, risk management and operational regional/facility leadership as requested. The ideal Coordinator will have more than three years of healthcare operations or customer-focused resolution experience. A knowledge of medical terminology or clinical background preferred.
