A minimum of five years of clinical risk management and patient safety experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required. Relevant Mayo Clinic experience preferred. Past experience in a position with a history of direct reporting responsibilities and supervisory experience required. Bachelor of Science Degree required. Master's Degree or other advanced clinical degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to coordinate group activities, documented experience in design and implementation of systems improvement projects. Demonstrated effective clinical risk management and general liability claims managing experience, including negotiations of settlements and other forms of resolution. Demonstrated energy level, enthusiasm, and work ethic sufficient to motivate others toward change. Outstanding interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with physicians, members of other disciplines, and management/administration. Readiness to manage and resolve conflict proactively. Demonstrated skill at report development. Evidence of active involvement in organizational and/or department committees, task forces, or performance improvement teams. Demonstrated documented examples of ability to organize and analyze complex data and propose logical conclusions. Evidence of strict adherence to standards of confidentiality and regulatory standards. Technical proficiencies with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and other systems as identified.
