This position will work closely with the Director of Quality Commitment to focus on enterprise-wide initiatives, risk-based contracts such as Highmark aligned Accountable Care Organization, and strategically establish processes in cooperation with clinical leaders to meet and exceed publicly reported metrics as well as internally-identified processes in need of improvement.
This position will assume responsibility for the daily operations of the Quality Commitment Department and provides the managerial leadership needed to ensure that Quality teammates have the direction and resources necessary to expand their roles to support One Beebe in meeting quality and accreditation goals. The position will also be responsible for partnering on a regular basis with leaders of Service Lines, Teams, Departments, and Beebe Corporate Entities to analyze quality data, implement quality solutions, and measure successes of quality throughout the organization.

Requirements: RN (licensed in Delaware or other state), BSN degree required.
At least 5 years clinical experience in nursing. At least 2 years management experience. At least 2 years Quality experience
Preferred: Master's degree Acute Care Quality Experience CPHQ.

Responsibilities:
Working with the Director of Quality Commitment, conduct performance appraisals and performance management to include coaching, developing, counseling, disciplining, and terminating team members with the Quality Department. Complete ongoing quality and benchmark reports for use both within and outside the Quality Department. Provide oversight ensuring that Beebe Healthcare is meeting The Joint Commission and CMS requirements, to include any TJC Disease Specific Certifications. Oversee Beebe's Leapfrog Group initiative, working closely with leaders assigned to various sections to ensure that information is collected and submitted in a timely manner, maximizing all possible scoring. Oversee Beebe's NDNQI data entry and result analysis while collaborating with nurse leaders to facilitate improvement initiatives as appropriate. Improve clinical outcomes by promoting person-centered care delivery, ensuring evidence-based clinical practice is applied, sustaining high-value care models, and reforming healthcare design to achieve health equity. Ensures all relevant quality data and metrics are processes and submitted completely, accurately, in the proper format, and in a timely fashion for all TJC and CMS measures, plus additional quality measures as needed. Facilitates Root Cause Analyses, Failure Mode Effects Analyses, and utilizes other robust performance/process improvement models such as Rapid Performance Improvement and Lean Six Sigma.
