Position Summary: The Assistant Vice President for Facilities Operations Support is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of assigned services within the Environment of Care to include Environmental and Linen Services, Safety, Security and Parking Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity, and Switchboard/Interpretive Services and Valet for the MultiCare Health System. The Assistant Vice President ensures the provision of superior quality, customer-oriented support services to Business Unit leadership throughout the Health System. The Assistant Vice President facilitates and directs the annual planning, budgeting, evaluation, selection, contracting, implementation and championing of all Facilities Management and Operations Support services, systems and projects. The Assistant Vice President also ensures all assigned services meet or exceed all applicable regulatory and Joint Commission requirements.
Minimum Requirements: Ten (10) years of experience with administration of The Joint Commission standards and particular familiarity with Environment of Care standards and requirements. Ten (10) years of increasingly responsible and successful management experience, preferably within a large healthcare system. Experience in planning and directing administrative and fiscal services, operations, and management analysis, in a healthcare delivery organization.
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelors Degree in in Hospital Administration, Business, Public Administration or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
