RWJBarnabas Health and Trinitas Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Hospital Medicine in Elizabeth, NJ
RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is currently seeking an experienced, board-certified Hospitalist to fill the role as Director of Hospital Medicine at Trinitas Regional Medical Center (TRMC) in Elizabeth, NJ. TRMC is one of the seven teaching institutions affiliated with our system and is home to multiple Graduate Medical Education programs.
The Director of Hospital Medicine will practice within the department and oversee all clinical activities and provide leadership and support for all academic actions. The Director will also serve as a faculty member of a strong academic training program and create policies that drive improvements in quality and safety. Ideal candidates will have the desire to work closely with the Internal Medicine Residency program to ensure alignment with our Hospitalist Medicine program.

Preferred candidates will have:
- Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical leader with experience in driving improvements in quality and safety
- Prior experience in resident education and clinical research
- All candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Candidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills, strong clinical background and keen understanding of how to drive and maintain clinical quality standards
