Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Assistant Nursing Manager for the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Overlook Medical Center to work 7pm-7:30am.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Demonstrates clinical excellence, participates in the recruitment and development of all team members, establishes a pleasant work environment that focuses on teamwork and recognition of individual excellence, and maintains a collaborative relationship with providers, team members, and leadership
The Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates with the Director and Manager of the unit to maintain a safe environment of care, participates in performance improvement opportunities, and assists in maintaining the unit's fiscal management by focusing on areas of daily operation and strategic needs.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Purpose, Respect, Innovation, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Extraordinary Caring) in every aspect of their job.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborates with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
The Assistant Nurse Manager champions the organization's Magnet and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
BSN required.
MSN preferred.
Certification preferred
Minimum Experience:
Must have interest in caring for patients, good communication, and assessment skills
5+ years critical care experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
