Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Assistant Nursing Manager for the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Overlook Medical Center to work 7pm-7:30am.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates clinical excellence, participates in the recruitment and development of all team members, establishes a pleasant work environment that focuses on teamwork and recognition of individual excellence, and maintains a collaborative relationship with providers, team members, and leadership
• The Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates with the Director and Manager of the unit to maintain a safe environment of care, participates in performance improvement opportunities, and assists in maintaining the unit's fiscal management by focusing on areas of daily operation and strategic needs.
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Purpose, Respect, Innovation, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Extraordinary Caring) in every aspect of their job.
• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborates with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• The Assistant Nurse Manager champions the organization's Magnet and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team.
  

Minimum Education:

• BSN required.
• MSN preferred.
• Certification preferred

Minimum Experience:

• Must have interest in caring for patients, good communication, and assessment skills
• 5+ years critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
