Position Summary: The Program Coordinator HCA (Health Care Authority) Project is responsible for supporting the coordination of a multidisciplinary statewide initiative designed to address the social, psychological, developmental and economic impacts of behavioral health and mental illness. The Program Coordinator will help lead the statewide mental health coalition organizing effort providing training and technical assistance to regional partners. The incumbent works in conjunction with outside consultants, donors, and evaluators as the statewide initiative is being further planned and implemented. Partners include DCYF, DDA, ESDs, law enforcement, MCOs, HCA, ACH, mental health and crisis services, and other relevant representatives of Pierce County who identify as a stakeholder in this initiative. This is a grant funded position that will report to the Director, KMHPC.
Minimum Requirements: Three years experience post-graduate degree One year of project management or team lead experience Health industry knowledge preferred Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW), Public Health (MPH), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or other human services such as M.Ed or MS in psychology Licensure preferred
