The Leave of Absence/Accommodation Administrator is responsible for administering Tenet Healthcare�s leave, accommodation, and absence policies and programs, ensuring all requests for time away are handled appropriately and efficiently. The position entails a specific focus on ensuring that these policies and programs meet all applicable compliance and regulatory requirements. This role will engage with multiple internal partners to provide excellent service and support.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Handles leave/accommodation intake and ensures that all requests are handled appropriately and efficiently and that employees are aware of their responsibilities and documentation.
- Reviews and assesses medical documentation to determine LOA/ADA eligibility.
- Manages the return-to-work process and works cross functionally with other teams to coordinate the integration of employee�s accommodation upon their return to work.
- Provides instruction to appropriate stakeholders regarding process and procedure and compliance in accordance with company standards, and state and federal regulations.
- Acts as a trusted partner by effectively formulating potential compliance risks while understanding the business goals and needs.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices.
- Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor�s degree, Human Resources area is preferred
- Minimum 2- 3 years of leave and accommodation administration experience
- Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, or SHRM
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of responsibilities
- Must be flexible and thrive in a changing environment
- Strong ability to handle multiple deliverables/projects simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
