We are currently in search of our newest Surgical Services leader who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care to our community at St. Joseph’s Hospital North.

The Surgical Services Director is a member of the management team and participates in planning, policy development and priority setting.
The director ensures that surgical services and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system.
They ensure compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards. Maintains a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA/JCAHO) and established national standards of care.
Collaborates with other directors, administrators, medical staff and other departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost effective manner.
We are looking for a candidate that has a Bachelor Degree in Nursing or a related field, along with 5 years of leadership experience in a related field.

Certifications, Licensures and Education

Required - RN (Registered Nurse)
Required - Bachelor's Nursing or related field
Preferred - CNOR (Surgical) and/or Nurse Specialist
Preferred - Master's Nursing or related field
