JOB SUMMARY: The Director, Ambulatory Nursing (DOAN) of is, in collaboration with the Medical Director and Director of Operations, accountable for the operational, human resource, quality, and financial management of assigned nursing unit(s). The DOAN works with the Administrative Director and the triad leadership team to translate pavilion and department strategic plans and policies into a unit plan suitable to the unique operational needs. The DOAN leads implementation and evaluation of the unit plan for non-provider clinical staff and provides reports relevant to achievement of related goals. The DOAN is accountable for maintaining the system-wide quality of nursing services by assuring the Harris Health Nursi
