Under the direction of leadership, implements Risk Management Program practices to avoid or reduce loss to the organization.
Collaborates with the other departments to develop and assure implementation of patient safety and high reliability initiatives.
Acts as a resource for department and all staff in addressing risk management issues.

Has authority to hire, fire and discipline
Oversees t he process for collecting, reporting and maintaining information necessary to ensure appropriate insurance coverage
