The role you’ll contribute:
The Health Equity Program Manager provides project management support to the health equity team and initiative. The core responsibility is to ensure the successful execution of the health equity initiative project plan and health equity related-projects. This role is responsible for collaborating on, developing, and managing the health equity project plan. Responsibilities include: supporting the health equity director in implementing the health equity initiative, development of health equity deliverables, supporting internal and external partnerships and market requests, and building and supporting the health equity team's internal infrastructure.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Proactively manage detailed project plan for successful implementation and execution of the health equity initiative. This includes updating the project plan, leading project plan updates in meetings, running team meetings if/when requested, providing status updates.
- In collaboration with the director, work across the health equity team to identify and delegate tasks to appropriate team members and ensure all tasks are successfully completed on multiple projects at once.
- As directed by the Director, manage day to day logistics and operational needs of the health equity initiative, identifying and addressing risks that may adversely impact the initiative work and timeline.
- Coordinate meeting agenda development, follow up and creation of support resources. Prioritize and complete follow-up activities related to agenda items by coordinating and communicating with team members and leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation and status of project timeline, keeping team stakeholders and executive leadership informed of project status as directed.
- Prioritize and manage multiple competing projects, deadlines, and customer relationships.
- Conduct observations, develop actionable plans, and implement viable solutions to problems identified.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate's degree with six (6) or more years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's degree with four (4) or more years of relevant experience, or
- Master's degree with two (2) or more years of relevant experience in Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience managing projects, preferably in a complex organizational environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Process Improvement Experience
- Experience in Health Equity & Inclusion
- Project Management Professional certification
- At least one of the following
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Yellow Belt or other equivalent certification
- Change Management Certification
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
