Senior Vice President and President of Emerson Physician Associates 

Emerson Hospital is seeking an experienced and talented physician leader to serve as the inaugural Senior Vice President (SVP) and President of Emerson Physician Associates (EPA). The SVP of EPA will be responsible for the direction and management of all EPA practices. The SVP will maintain broad responsibilities for all administrative functions of EPA practices including strategic and business planning, operations, marketing, human resources, information systems, performance management, operations, finance as well as physician recruitment and compensation. EPA is a growing multi-specialty provider group with an annual revenue of $130M and 90 physicians across 14 sites across the northwest Boston area. 

Founded in 1911, Emerson Hospital is a 179-bed, full-service regional medical center headquartered in historic Concord, Massachusetts. Emerson Hospital provides advanced medical care to more than 300,000 people living within 25 towns of the western suburbs of Boston. A wide range of inpatient and outpatient services include both acute and sub-acute services, as well as home care, hospice, palliative care, and several satellite facilities which serve a patient population that is relatively homogenous and largely well-insured. The SVP of EPA will be a M.D. or D.O. with at least five years of clinical practice with leadership experience in a large multi-specialty group practice, commercial ACO or payor. The candidate must be able to work across all levels of the organization including the board, senior hospital leadership and staff.
