Candidates must have prior experience in emergency medicine and an interest in leadership. Duties include having a comprehensive understanding of state and hospital regulations that govern the practice of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in the group, helping to establish policy and procedures within the department, and participating in quality improvement projects.
