Senior Financial Analyst, Joint Venture Accounting (Onsite based in Dallas, TX)

As Tenet continues to manage its portfolio of Joint Ventures with third parties, there are accounting requirements and duties on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure compliance with our Joint Venture Agreements and other related agreements (management contracts, employee lease agreements, intercompany notes, etc.).
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Record and analyze monthly transactions with Joint Venture partners, including billing coordination with Joint Venture partners
Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to comply with Joint Venture reporting requirements
Analyze financial data, including the preparation of month end journal entries and account reconciliations for various accounts (Non-Controlling Interests, Intercompany, Other Receivables, etc.)
Record and remit management fees to Joint Venture Partners
Track ownership of Joint Ventures and record monthly accounting entries related to Joint Venture partners (Non-Controlling Interest Expense, Distributions, Contributions)
Calculate and Initiate required Distribution payments to Joint Venture partners
Liaison with Joint Venture partners as necessary
Coordination of audit requests from both internal audit, external auditors and external auditors for Joint Venture partners
Ad hoc reporting and special projects for internal departments and Joint Venture Partners as requested
Technical accounting research and analysis related to Joint Venture agreements and activities
Month end entries including top-side, stat, investments and cash flow entries, and related account reconciliations
Various duties to support the Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting teams
Bachelorâ��s degree with major in Accounting
CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification
3+ years progressive accounting /finance experience; exposure to consolidation accounting preferred
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
Public accounting experience preferred
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to communicate and respond to questions from Joint Venture Partners
