About Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California
As a regional pediatric medical center, the Northern California Shriners Hospital cares for children throughout the Western United States, Canada and Mexico. The hospital is a destination of choice for patients and families seeking comprehensive, compassionate care for complex medical needs that include orthopaedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, burns, scars from any cause, cleft lip, gastro-intestinal diseases, ano-rectal disorders, chest wall malformations and other surgical needs. The hospital partners with emergency air ambulances to transport critically injured children and coordinates transportation to and from the hospital for patients whose families cannot provide or afford travel. Children have the opportunity to be evaluated and treated by doctors recognized by their peers as the best of the best.
