The Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator will be a full-time employee that is responsible to the Executive Director for the directing, coordinating, managing and supervising of all activities for the 92-bed Skilled Nursing Facility at Bethany Home. This includes oversight of operations, budget & census management, maintain sufficient staffing, meet all regulatory compliancy and work with residents and their families in securing the highest possible quality of care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Direct operations of the Skilled Nursing Facility to comply with Federal, State and County regulations and Bethany Home’s Mission Statement.
Develop Skilled Nursing Facility policies, procedures, programs and directs implementation of such.
Serve as primary liaison with residents and families.
Responsible for keeping the occupancy numbers (census) at budgeted optimal levels.
Ensure conformance with annual budget. Review expenses monthly.
Supervise all resident services in the Skilled Nursing Facility, including Nursing, Activities, Social Services, Dietary, Laundry, Housekeeping, and Office Staff.
Manage the admissions process. Monitor inquiries for admissions; Oversee the waiting list, evaluate the qualifications of applicants, and approve applicants for admission.
Maintain contracts for all services provided in the Skilled Nursing Facility.
Must have a current California Nursing Home Administrator’s License.
