The Anoka-Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC) is seeking a Clinical Program Director with strong leadership skills and the ability to achieve positive outcomes.
Under the direction of the AMRTC Medical Director, the AMRTC Clinical Program Director will provide leadership, management, and strategic direction to AMRTC Treatment Programing departments while ensuring best practices that are reflected in the delivery of services across the hospital in order to provide the highest opportunity for patients to achieve treatment and recovery goals.
The AMRTC Clinical Program Director will ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements and pursue excellence beyond the standards by championing the use of evidence-based practices, transfer of promising practices for use with the individuals we serve, and oversight of programming across the hospital. This individual will direct Clinical Program Departments which include behavioral services, occupational and recreation therapy, and social services, as well as the hospital chaplain.
This position will be responsible for:
Working closely with the medical director as part of the medical services of the hospital and in collaboration with other Medical Services directors (psychiatry, primary care, psychology).
Developing and maintaining positive, productive, and result-oriented relationships across a diverse group of people.
Collaborate with other hospital leaders in the development of strategic planning for the program.
Oversee policy development broadly across the areas related to Clinical Services Programming to ensure clarity and current direction.
Manage the development and implementation of flexible, outcome-based and person-centered treatment, interventions, and support

Advanced degree and licensure in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare, or highly related clinical practice field
Three (3) years of managerial OR advanced-level organizational supervisory experience
Providing clinical direction and oversight in a mental health organization
Experience leading the delivery of clinical services in a mental health or behavioral health care setting.
Experience preparing a team or organization for TJC review
Developing program planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation
Creating and executing strategic plans
Clinical policy development and review
Experience with individuals who have severe, persistent mental illness that also experience co-occurring conditions such as medical, substance use, neurocognitive/developmental, and who have had involvement with the law.
