The Patient Safety Program Director will work collaboratively with leadership, management, and front line staff to improve patient safety and reduce harm. Continually advance the culture of patient safety, organization-wide, through implementation of evidence-based best practices and efficient and effective processes.
Minimum Work Experience 7 years Related and progressive experience. Prior leadership responsibility with a track record of implementing change (Required)
Required Skills/Knowledge Knowledge of quality improvement science methods and human factors principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Analytical skills to trend and analyze data. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Understanding of adult learning concepts and demonstrated success in educating and facilitating groups. Demonstrated success in managing projects. Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
Required Licenses and Certifications Patient Safety Officer certification (Preferred)
