The Chief Medical Director is responsible for providing leadership and management of the medical programs and services provided to the patients of Hospice of the Golden Isles. This position supervises the activities of physicians and other medical staff assigned to each interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care for the patient and families.
Plans and coordinates the medical programs and activities of the organization to ensure high-quality care is delivered in a cost-effective manner while meeting all compliance standards.
The Chief Medical Director reports to the Executive Director. The Chief Medical Director works closely with senior management and members of the Board of Directors to provide medical leadership and management to the organization in support of the achievement of the hospice’s goals and mission.
Current Georgia Medical License. Or able to obtain Georgia license.
Controlled Substance license
ABIM Certified Hospice & Palliative Medicine
Current State of Georgia driver’s license with driving record acceptable to Hospice of the Golden Isles insurance carrier, and reliable transportation
