The Senior Director, Human Resources â�� Corporate will be responsible for leading a small team of human resources professionals in support of Tenetâ��s Corporate Offices. Reporting to the VP, HR this role will include HR Business Partner support for the corporate C-Suite leadership team and corresponding functional areas (Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Communications and Marketing, and Compliance). Tenetâ��s HQ location consists of approximately 800 employees.
Provide strategic HR Business Partner expertise across corporate C-Suite to maximize organizational performance.
Build strong influential relationships and serve as the key trusted strategic HR leader, advisor, coach and confident to C-Suite leadership to enhance their individual leadership impact and effectiveness.
Ensure alignment of enterprise strategic priorities with corporate functional area operations and how they integrate with lines of business and field operations.
Partnering with VP, HR and peers to translate the overall business strategy and organizational needs across the corporate office into contemporary performance solutions, including organizational design, talent, performance management and cultural change. In collaboration with Talent Management, drive talent and organizational solutions to build strong capabilities and leadership bench and to ensure operating effectiveness across the corporate functional areas.
Actively contribute to the overall enterprise HR strategy to help ensure that the organization has the right talent, skills, organization capabilities and culture to support the achievement of Tenetâ��s short and long-range goals and objectives.
Lead team to ensure the effective administration of programs and policies such as performance management, annual compensation planning, talent planning, organization restructuring.
Serve as a role model across the corporate office for Tenet Leadership Competencies and Values. Serve as a role model for driving Diversity and Inclusion across client groups.
Bachelorâ��s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field. Masterâ��s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive and increasing responsible as HR Business Partner leader with experience at best-in-class organizations known for the quality of their HR function. HR Center of Excellence leadership experience in areas such as Talent Management or Total Rewards would be a plus but not required.
This role is a high-visibility position at Tenetâ��s corporate offices across the C-Suite and, as a result, the successful candidate will bring strong executive presence and polish, high-confidence, low ego, instant credibility, strong interpersonal communication and executive relationship skills.
This individual is experienced at working in a headquarters-based HR leadership capacity working directly with an executive leadership team, exercising sophisticated relationship building and influencing skills.
The successful candidate will combine their business acumen with strong strategic and execution capability and a pragmatic mindset.
Demonstrated track record of success in delivering results, navigating across a large-scale, fast-paced, complex enterprise.
Experience within a healthcare related business setting is preferred but not required.
Experience integrating and divesting businesses highly desired.
Strong team player who can work closely with key HR stakeholders at all levels in the organization and contribute to the on-going development of the larger Tenet Health HR community.
Conceptual/theoretical capability in collaborating in the development of comprehensive HR programs, combined with a practical approach and ability to translate ideas into concrete deliverables with measurable results.
