The Risk Management Consultant is responsible for providing various risk management services in order to assess and reduce risks in the area of professional & general liability for healthcare clients. They will also be responsible for the in-house clinical review of liability cases.
The Risk Management Consultant remains continuously educated about industry trends and best practices and creates education curricula, coordinates programs and workshops, and acts as faculty.
SC RN license in good standing with the SC Board of Nursing, Bachelor of Science in nursing with clinical experience in health or safety-related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in clinical healthcare, occupational health, safety, or risk management.
Designation as a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) is preferred, but not required.
