Patient Safety Manager is a Registered Nurse who is directly accountable to the Director of Quality Management (QM). The Patient Safety Manager serves in a diverse role that encompasses substantial responsibility and accountability for the facility Patient Safety Management program that crosses all departments and disciplines within the Medical Center. He/she assumes the responsibility and accountability for ensuring that the activities are linked with the overall goals of the Wilmington VAMC.
