Christiana Care is currently seeking a Project Manager to work in a full-time position in Patient Safety. In this role, the selected individual will design, manage and execute system-wide event management processes including coordination, facilitation and integration of event/peer review information to achieve continuous improvements in patient care delivery and optimal patient outcomes. You will also act as an expert resource for event management with the objectives of enhancing patient safety, reducing patient harm and achieving Christiana Care's strategic and patient safety goals.
Requirements: BSN required. Master's degree in Nursing preferred. Five to 10 years of acute care nursing experience required. Current Delaware/Compact RN licensure required. Minimum two years' work experience in patient safety or quality preferred. Certification by National Association for Health Care Quality preferred. Education, understanding of and/or experience in one or more of the following are desirable: information technology, performance improvement, outcome analysis, utilization management, team facilitation and education (patient/staff) preferred.
