Under direction of Director, Access Technology, this position will plan, design, support and manage projects, institution wide on behalf Patient Access Services centered on advancing and elevating Patient Access operational excellence and services. Individual is responsible for managing all phases of a project including planning, coordination, management of tasks to completion, and change management. Position does not have direct reports.

Operate under minimal supervision, provides project planning, scheduling, risk and issue management including change management and communications.
Prepares and presents frequent quality, statistical, and operational reports including analysis of progress toward program/project goals. Investigates and reports on data to analyze indicators and trends in areas of interest.
Creates and maintains project system and status documentation from initial stages of problem identification through stabilization post implementation.
Proactive identification and communication of project risks and ability to independently develop and manage specific contingency plans to address those risks.
Ensure the most effective operations through program development, process improvement and coordination/integration of processes with other sections.
Provides project education and assistance to users across VUMC.
Demonstrates and models clear communication skills, ensuring the concerns of the customer, colleagues, and staff are heard and addressed timely and effectively.
Collaborates with internal and external project team and stakeholders.
Demonstrates good team building and leadership skills.
3+ years applicable experience
Computer proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Vision, Word, Excel), share point
Preferred: Project management tools (MS Project or similar); experience with contact centers, contact center technology and capacity
