Oversees a hospital-wide Infection Prevention/Surveillance Program that will maintain and assure a high quality and safe system of patient care. The incumbent will address the needs of the patients of Good Shepherd Health System.
Licensed or degreed health care professional required. RN Preferred. Certification in infection prevention desired.
Formal training in Infection Prevention, Epidemiology and Surveillance
Five years clinical experience in hospital setting desired.
Experience in Infection Prevention, Epidemiology, Pathophysiology of disease and their transmission desired.
Experience in medical staff interaction and hospital committee work desired.
