Our client, one of the largest not-for-profit trade organizations in NJ and the premier statewide healthcare association with a membership of close to 400 healthcare organizations, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the CFO helps define the strategic, operational, commercial, and financial blueprints to grow and maximize opportunities for the Association. The CFO translates the strategic and tactical business plans into financial strategic and operational plans. S/he directs investment, financial and control activities of the organization and its affiliates in a manner designed to protect assets, meet reporting requirements, provide timely, meaningful reporting of financial operations, and effectively plan for the financial needs of the organization.
The CFO interacts with management, the Board, fund managers, Association members, and business partners on a regular basis. The CFO serves the Board as Assistant Treasurer, an officer of the corporation. The CFO also serves as a member of the Internal Corporate Compliance Committee.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting or Finance and a MBA and/or CPA, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible financial management leadership roles within growth-oriented environment. A blend of both for-profit and not-for-profit experience is considered a plus.
