The Clinical Risk Manager will work in the Quality Management Department under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Quality and Risk. The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for the day-to-day risk management activities of the Quality and Risk Department. The Clinical Risk Manager assists in the planning, direction and coordination of activities of risk identification, prevention, evaluation, with recommendations for action to prevent and/or reduce the frequency and severity of events to improve the quality of care and patient safety and reduce the risk of financial loss.

The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Candidates must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in New York. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Risk Management in a hospital/healthcare setting and knowledge in Joint Commission standards, including federal and state regulations.
