MICA has been a leader in the industry for over forty years. We specialize in medical professional liability insurance – that’s all we do. Many insurance companies offer several different types of insurance. MICA is different. Many insurance companies are owned and directed by stockholders. As a mutual insurance company, MICA is owned by its members, who are eligible for dividends when they are declared. MICA is very stable financially, and we have maintained an “A” (Excellent) rating by AM Best Company for over 20 years.
