Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is Central Pennsylvania's only academic medical center and home to Penn State Children's Hospital and Penn State College of Medicine. We are seeking a professional with at least 5 years of Director-level Risk Management experience in a healthcare organization. In this role, you will be responsible for oversight and leadership of the hospital-wide program in risk management, which includes risk prevention activities, including education and day-to-day management of all risk-related matters. You will manage the integration of risk management, focusing on reducing risk and limiting exposure and liability across the organization.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study with at least 5 years' experience in healthcare management or administration required.
Negotiation, organizational and effective decision-making skills required.
Working knowledge of legal system, risk management, quality services and patient safety is essential.
