Responsible for system clinical risk management activities- procurement of insurance coverage and risk financing, managing claims, interfacing with defense legal counsel, analyzing data, compile standards. Addresses allocation of premiums to ORGs as indicated; works with finanical staff and external auditors/actuaries to address BH Trust management and oversight needs.
Bachelors degree required, preferably in nursing. Masters Degree Preferred, healthcare /business preferred. Professional Healthcare Risk Management certification required. 3-5 years experience in Clinical Risk Management in a healthcare environment, 5-10 years experience in Risk Financing/Insurance/Captive Insurance Management
