Risk Program Manager
In this role, you will develop, implement, oversee and facilitate the Accreditation, Risk Management and Patient Safety (ARS) Programs for Alameda Health System. You will be responsible for all aspects of the ARS Programs in order to protect the Medical Center, its patients, visitors and employees. In addition, you will implement the integration of Continuing Quality Improvement (CQI) concepts, as determined by the Joint Commission into the monitoring of organizational systems as they relate to ARS for all campuses as well as problem solve the quality of patient care and risk issues as they arise.
At least five years of clinical/healthcare administration experience with three to five years of directly related experience in regulatory, risk management/patient safety
Possession of a certification from the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management preferred
A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a master’s degree is preferred
CQI tools and principles regarding to the measurement and assessment of data collection and the distribution of information to medical staff
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
