Position reports to the CEO
Development, implementation, and oversight of the System’s Compliance and Risk Management Program
Responsibilities include: identifying and assessing areas of compliance risk for the health system; communicating the importance of the Compliance Program; preparing and distributing the code of conduct, as well as compliance policies and procedures; responding to government officials with regard to special investigations and audits; and more
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Accounting; Master’s preferred
Successful track record of overseeing an acute care hospital compliance program
Knowledge of fraud and abuse regulations, health care reimbursement systems, third party payer guidelines, and general coding practices
