Leads and supervises quality improvement, infection prevention, measurement and evaluation, regulatory and accrediting agency reporting and continuous survey readiness across the acute and ambulatory care spectrum. The VP of Quality will report to the System Chief Medical Officer and will have a matrix reporting relationship with the care site and ambulatory clinic Quality Directors. In addition, the this position will work in a dyad relationship with the VP of Clinical Performance and work closely with care site CMOs and CNOs as well as the CMIO.
Clinical degree required (BSN, MSN, MD, DO, or Pharm.D)
Master's Degree in business or other health care related field, preferred
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other related certification
At least ten years healthcare experience in progressively responsible leadership positions
Experience managing associates and working with health care data issues, regulatory readiness, change management and process improvement
Advanced training and expertise in healthcare quality, safety, and outcome improvement and reporting.
